What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and (if you choose to provide it) your name. When you use Tendly, we collect:

• The email, calendar, or WhatsApp messages you explicitly route to Tendly (you control which senders Tendly listens to)
• Your interactions with the Tendly chat (questions, plans, actions)
• Family coordination data (tasks, events, reminders) you create or that Tendly suggests for you

We do not collect contacts, browsing history, location (beyond the city you set), or any data from accounts you haven't connected.

What we do with it

We use the data to coordinate your family life — surface the next pickup, draft a plan, remind you before things slip. We do not use your data to:

• Sell you ads. No ads, ever — this is a paid-or-free product, not an ad-supported one.
• Train AI models on your data. No model training on your data — your family's data is not used to improve any LLM, ours or anyone else's.
• Share with third parties. No selling your data — no data brokers, no analytics trackers, no ad networks, no sharing whatsoever.

Where it's stored

All data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (Tendly's primary database) and Cloudflare R2 (uploaded files). Cloudflare encrypts data at rest. Tendly does not maintain any on-premise infrastructure.

How you stay in control

• Disconnect any channel anytime (Settings → Channels)
• Delete any item Tendly created (tap the item → Delete)
• Export all your data (Settings → Export — sends a JSON archive to your email)
• Delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete Account — wipes all data within 30 days)

GDPR rights (for EU users)

If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR:

• Right to access (export your data)
• Right to rectification (correct inaccurate data)
• Right to erasure (delete your account)
• Right to data portability (export)
• Right to object (stop Tendly from processing your data)
• Right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority

Security

Tendly uses Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and Durable Objects. All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). Authentication uses signed session tokens (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax). Account recovery uses email OTP (one-time codes, 10-minute expiry).

Children's privacy

Tendly is a family app. We may process data about children in the household — their names, ages, school events, activities. We never use this data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose. Parents control all data about their children; children under 13 should not have independent accounts (only managed by their parents).

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll email you 30 days before they take effect and ask for your consent (where required by law). Minor changes (typos, clarifications) are noted in the change log below.
